Frequently Asked Questions

Will I see the sea of clouds and Buddha's halo?

Both are weather-dependent natural phenomena and can't be guaranteed, but clear mornings at the Golden Summit offer the best chance. The views and temples are spectacular regardless.

Do I have to climb a lot?

Cableways and shuttles cover the steepest sections, so the major sights are accessible with moderate walking. Wear non-slip shoes for the half-mountain trails and the Leshan plank path.
